Which is more stable, a flown vase with a narrow bottom or a flower pot with a wide base?

a wide base is always more stable than a narrow one. the sole physical reason behind this is the centre of gravity which is also the centre of mass.
In general the lower the centre of gravity(mass) the higher the stability
Note: The centre of gravity is that point through which all parallel forces due to the earth’s attraction always meet, so long as the shape and size remain unaltered
