How do I make a really good pot of tea?
This is how I do it but it never tastes like when I have a cup at a tea shop. I warm the pot, throw that water out, put a teaspoon of tea leaves in (just for me), fill the pot about a third full with fresh hot water. Then leave it to stand for a couple of minutes. But It’s either too weak or horribly stewed. What am I doing wrong? Is it the tea I’m using, the cup or what?!
you didn’t specify which type of tea you are making. But the most important parts of tea making are:
the temp of the water
the amount of tea (3 gm per 6 oz water)
the time allowed to steep
the type of water
if any of these are incorrect or dramatically off, then you won’t get a good cup of tea.
