My friend is asking for my opinion on the Olympic Opening. I wasn’t too impressed. What should I tell her?
I want to be honest, on the other hand, should I just keep my mouth shut? Because I wasn’t blown away by the Beijing Opening Ceremony and it would most likely offend her since she is Chinese. It was a stunning and beautiful performance, but I’ve seen better opening ceremonies. Should I just tell her I liked it and not tell her about my personal favourites?
How about you just mention that you thought it “was a stunning and beautiful performance” and that you “liked it”?
