I’m thinking of removing large round mirror from antique dresser. would like to mount it above bath vanity
Any suggestions or ideas on mounting?
Please reconsider!…How old is the antique dresser? Is it really a good idea to take apart something so old which probably could be restored to its original beauty? Have you considered appraisal on your antique dresser to find significance to your decision to remove/take apart something you call antique? These are questions I would want to make sure I have answers for before perhaps removing something more than an old dresser from your house. Consider the cost…would you be throwing away or taking apart a valuable asset just for the sake of installing a mirror over a bath vanity which you could probably spend a whole lot less at a fixture store? Weigh the consequences and your matter at hand before you do anything.
