Japanese Oriental

I’m having a Japanese/Oriental themed birthday party. Can you think of any ideas other than the ones below?
So far I have:
~fireworks
~chopsticks
~origami
~japanese flags
~oriental fans and parasels
~cherry blossom costers
~tea service
I’m going to be serving Onigiri and Japanese Cream Puffs for dinner. Can you think of any other Japan-themed ideas as far as decorations, food, games?
You can add a Bonsai tree and a nice little waterfall fountain to the decor and tea light candles. A Bamboo Plant (for good luck!)
Japanese games:
Tokyo Doodles:
* Each player needs a sheet of paper taped to her back. Player 1 will need a marker as well.
* Players get in a line, with each guest facing the back of the person in front.
* The person at the back of the line (Player 1) draws an object on the paper of the person in front of her.
* Player 2 can’t see what is being drawn on her back, she can only feel it.
* Player 2 then tries to draw the same thing on the paper of the person in front of her (Player 3), and so on and so on.
* Players keep going down the line until it reaches the last player.
* The last player in line then tries to draw the object on a separate sheet of paper.
* Compare the drawings on everyone’s backs and on the last sheet of paper.
* You should get some very amusing results!
Chopsticks:
* You will need a stool for this game. Turn the stool upside down.
* Have four guests stand at the corner of each stool leg.
* Place blindfolds on each guest.
* Have each guest take 4 giants steps away from the upside down stool.
* Give each child a single chopstick.
* On the count of three, the people will turn around, walk to the stool and balance their chopstick on the correct stool leg.
* The first one to complete the task wins!
FOOD: Sushi, vegetable stir-fry
MUSIC: Music:
Puffy AmiYumi. They’re also becoming widely known in the U.S. and you can buy their CD at Barnes and Noble, or any bookstore. A great band that actually has their own show on Cartoon Network called: Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. They have songs in both Japanese & English.
I also suggest Ayumi Hamasaki. (#1)…
BoA~ -She is really creative can sing in a bunch of languages and she also has a few English songs that are very good.
~The Brilliant Green~ Very melodic sounding voice. She can also sing in English!
~Do As infinity~ Wow! A great band.
(Have guests dress for the occasion…but have some sandals for them when they arrive) And have pillows to sit on (can cover with Asian material).

The Transformers – The Movie (American Version) [VHS] $9.98 During the 1980s, one cartoon series ruled the airwaves… TheTransformers. This paragon of consumerism was created with a dual purpose–to entertain and to galvanize children to buy the toys. Somewhere along the line, the show became a cult favorite, so in 1986 they fashioned an epic tale of good versus evil specifically for the big screen. The result looked vaguely like an animated remake of Sta… |

Charlie’s Angels [VHS] $0.87 For every TV-into-movie success like The Fugitive, there are dozens of uninspired films like The Mod Squad. Happily–and surprisingly–this breezy update of the seminal ’70s jiggle show falls into the first category, with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore (who also produced), and Lucy Liu starring as the hair-tossing, fashion-setting, kung fu-fighting trio employed by the mysterious Charlie (voiced by… |
