How can a 14 year old help Japan?
Hello. As I said before, I am 14, and my Mom and I think it would be great if we could find a way to help Japan, like raising money. I thought of a bake sale, maybe a car wash, but a car wash is already done at my school every year for cheerleading. Any ideas?
As strange as I feel saying this, Japan will be fine.
While Japan is having a nuclear crisis and went through a seriously bad earthquake/tsunami/everything-else, the only thing the money from a bake sale would do is inflate your ego.
However, something like a bake sale can go a long way towards the much longer term problems, such as the starvation in parts of Africa. Ten dollars could save a kid’s life.
In Japan, the same ten dollars would replace a cabinet door.
