Head Sculpture

Egyptian sculpture that looked like nefertiti, except the head was like an egg plant. What is it exactly?
I had to draw it for visual arts. Does it have a name? What does it mean? Was it ‘from some sort of religion? I have a feeling I have come across it a lot of times but canøt remember…..
I think the piece you are referring to is in the Brooklyn Museum: It is a limestone relief of King Akhenaten and Queen Nefertiti (“The Wilbour Plaque”) from Amarna dating from the New Kingdom, late Dynasty 18, latter part of the reign of Akhenaten (circa 1352–1336 b.c.) or slightly later.

The Queen wears the Ankh – a symbol representing “life” in the Egyptian culture. I understand that you are asking why her head in profile is eggplant shaped. (it is strange, because in the most famous sculpture of this lady, she is seen to have a beautiful face). I think the reason is that during this period there was a tendency to accentuate or even distort different parts of the body and face – long necks, and as here, egg shaped heads.
The reason is that the egg shape (eggplant) alludes to divine creative activity. And I quote from the source below: “It is the everyday occurrence of the birth of a chick from the egg (that) was spoken of in the Great Hymn to Aten as a symbol of the divine origin of life”
By the way Aten is an Egyptian sun deity.
