With a shallow coupe shape, the piece features a wild wreath of zebra stripes bordered on the outside with a trim band of polka dots and on the inside with a garland of roses and violets.
Versace, a German dinnerware manufacturer and subsidiary of Waterford Wedgwood, partnered with the late Italian designer Gianni Versace in 1993 to create the Rosenthal Versace collection that includes dinnerware, stem glass, cutlery, silverware and giftware that is sold locally at Glassworks in Shadyside, Louis Anthony Jewelers in Bethel Park and Contemporary Concepts in Turtle Creek and McCandless. Versace collection features images and themes from Greek mythology like the Medusa head, which reflects the world of the late fashion designer Gianni Versace, according to the company’s Web site.
