Bring Back Those Customers
Want to bring life into your small store? Then why not think about having a sale of some sorts. You could get those feet back into your shop and also start a small revolution with your products. It doesn’t take that much planning and minimal amount of money.
First, with pen and paper, walk around your shop and make lists of items you can put up for sale. Start off with items that are older than the shop itself and work your way up to current dates. You need to drastically reduce the prices of your very old stock and then slowly lifting the prices the newer the item.
Having done that, you can now concentrate on your shop itself. Revamp if necessary like moving shelves around. Dust, wash and scrub until everything looks new and inviting. Display your on sale stock in groups like taking children’s clothing, toys and books and placing them around your britax car seat.
Next you need to make sure that your shop is clean and tidy. All shelves must be dusted and repacked. Your inventory must be marked clearly and of course you pricing has to be competitive. Your windows need washing and your doors need a paint or a good scrub.
If you don’t have one, install a small bell to the door. People love to be announced and it also gives the impression of good wholesome service. As they enter your shop make sure you put your latest item on sale like your martin acoustic guitar where it can be instantly noticed. Plug it in so people can test it.

Ask family and friends to distribute your fliers at schools, work places and churches. You can go around to all the shopping malls and small supermarkets to hand out and talk to people about your shop.
