chinese writing, what does this say?
there is this vase that my mother got from her grandmother, and my mom gave it to me. no one really knows what it says but it recently got knocked over and broke, but the only piece that broke off was the part with writing on it, and all the chinese characters are unharmed.
here is a pic of the vase: http://i52.tinypic.com/2lj5jdt.jpg sorry if u cant read it, i was just wondering what the red markings on the sides of the writing meant, and if u look at the super glue line, u can see the crack went all the way around the characters without touching them, i just think thats kool.( i scraped the excess glue off, not that that matters)
here is a card that has the exact same chinese characters on it, sory if you cant read them, i wrote them myself, nd i have no clue about chinese writing, so… i hope i did ok

I can’t read them, sorry. ): The first pic’s too blur and the second’s too choppy.
The red marks represent the artist’s seal; it’s common to use them as a signature on artwork, made with a hand-carved chop. And the words say something about the mountains and rivers and green and village. Probably something poetic~ That’s all I could make out.
