Nilfisk C 120.2-6 PAD – Pressure Washer Review
The C 120.2-6 PAD is an additional entry level, Nilfisk pressure washer. Choosing to employ a high pressure cleaner as opposed to a regular cleaning style eg using a bucket and brush, the job gets done faster, saving you water, money and time.
Nilfisk publisises itself as supplying ‘professional cleaning equipment that meets and exceeds the expectations of our customers’. We shall see. Click & Clean is the name of Nilfisk’s own developed ultra compact nozzle design. It’s function is to make it easy for the user of the power washer to inter-change nozzles and attachments. Accessories: Vario nozzle, Powerspeed nozzle, Patio Plus cleaner, detergent dosing bottle and foam applicator, washing brush and 15 m drain and tube cleaner. As you would expect from a product of this quality it comes with details such as a fine mesh filter protecting the pump from damage and a high-pressure overload valve. Power comes from the performance, maintenance-free 1700watt universal electric motor. Water supply up to 40 degrees Celsius can be used, though the cleansing performance with mains water is all that’s needed. The output pump is of the axial type, which provides output with low noise. To guarantee reliability the pump is constructed from metal. Aren’t they all? Well no, some use a tough polymer.
Instead of a detergent tank the C 120.2-6 PAD comes with a narrow tube that draws chemical directly from the container. The chemical is applied at reduced pressure. Yet another valuable aspect of this machine is the auto start / stop so the only activated when required . This saves power, water, chemicals and extends the longevity of the washer. It comes with a good quality high pressure hose, 6m in length, giving it a more than acceptable reach for a unit of this size. The unit gives a maximum pressure of 120 bar . It has a water throughput of 520l/hr to easily deal with stubborn dirt and stains. This model stands vertically . The washer weighs in at 8.4kg with dimensions of 267 x 276 x 816 (L x W x H)(mm), giving manoeuvrability and easier storage.
This is a high pressure cleaner that not only appears fantastic, but it feels brilliant to hold and use as well. We like the product, but there is still room for improvement. This is one of the best pressure washers in the UK.
