Archaic Jade

Where in the US can you live a happy life with normal un-jaded people and not much drama? lol?
I guess nowhere right? lol. My area, northeast us, NJ/NYC is such a garbagehole it’s not even funny. Sure people have money here but they’re the most soulless, already-dead, jaded, dramatic people ever, and make your life miserable.
Living here sucks. I’ve visited other places but they suck too.
Where can you honestly go in the US, and have a somewhat decent life with somewhat normal people?
I mean…this whole country seems so uncivilized, archaic and annoying, with needless drama.
I don’t WANT to put up with bad drivers, road rage, drama, nasty/rude people EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK.
Yet I do.
I feel like my environment is killing me.
Is there a better place then here?
The NorthWest. Short of Canada, this is the area I would like to live in the near future. Seattle Washington scored top in a study of the most intelligent city. Los Angeles scored the worst not far behind New York (of the major cities studied). I live in Texas, a major conservative stronghold you could say. I am not Liberal either, but I definantly don’t fit in down here either.
Plus, the scenery is amazing, I have family up there and they are always inviting me up for a visit, but I can never go due to work unfortunately.
