Statue appraisal or appraisal guide?
I have an authentic Egyptian Late Period steatite bird shaped amulet Circa 600-300 BC With symbols 17 mm and I dont have the slightest clue what it is worth. I really love this piece because it is so old and I think of the history involved with this item. To me this is irreplacable because I have always had an interest in Egyptian artifacts but I really dont know what this item might be worth. Is there an appraisal guide that I might find on Egyptian artifacts?

If you think yours is far superior to those shown here, then it might be worth while to be in touch with one of the major auction houses e.g. Christies, Sothebys, and ask for an evaluation which they do for free, in hope that you will sell with them.
